Good to Know

  • Try to sell antiques and collectibles at your yard sale first.
  • Throw away items with visible damage.
  • Don't let "Early Birds" get an unfair advantage. Hang an "Opens at 8 AM" sign on the garage door, and don't open it until then.
  • On yard sale day, after lunch is FREEBIE time.

After the Sale

  • Use Craig's List for large, heavy items. It is free, and you can post up to four digital pictures and unlimited copy.
  • In my opinion, eBay is the best place to sell small antiques and collectibles. Fees apply.
  • If we're working together, I have handouts for eBay-- how to research, photograph, and sell your items.
